Cell Tower, Cell Antenna Co-Location, and Small Cell Permit

Construction of a new cell tower requires special exception approval from the Irmo Board of Zoning Appeals. The special exception application can be found elsewhere on this site. Please submit both applications.

Co-location does not require a special exception. Please only submit this application.

Small cell facilities will need to meet the terms of Chapter 29 of the Irmo Municipal Code.

Application fees are as follows:

New Cell Tower: $200.00
Co-Location on an Existing Tower: $200.00
New Small Cell Wireless Pole: $1,000.00
Locating Small Cell Wireless on Modified or Replacement Pole: $250.00
Locating Small Cell Wireless on an Existing Pole or Support Structure: $100.00
