Permit Application
The Town permits temporary banners and signs to be displayed to promote events that meet the criteria established by the Council. All temporary signs must obtain prior approval and a permit from the Town of Irmo. The permit will be issued upon approval of this application. Once the permit is approved a letter of authorization (or Permit) will be sent to the email address listed on this application. This Permit must be produced upon request of any Town of Irmo employee.

There is a $50 fee for a Temporary Sign Permit.

Please be specific, i.e. July 1 - August 20 or every Friday throughout the year. If signs are placed on days outside of those listed, Town Code Enforcement may remove the signs and further placement may be prohibited. Note that signs can only be up 60 days per year.
